What's the Benefit of Seeing a Dietitian?
Dietitians are healthcare professionals with expertise in healthy eating and motivating individuals to take better care of their health. They also have the education and training to explain how nutrition can impact the course of many illnesses. Dietitians are also teachers, willing to share their knowledge about cooking, label reading, and grocery shopping. Just try getting one to stop talking about their latest food or recipe find! Their out-of-the-box thinking and experience with food also helps them identify ways of eating better you may not have thought of. Dietitians are also able to collaborate with physicians to improve your overall health.
